Take the steps necessary to get a letter from me stating you are "pre-approved" for a loan in a specific price range.  It's important to have this letter before you make a contract offer to buy real estate.  This letter along with your search criteria will help you determine which homes you may want to consider putting an offer on.

Refinancing:
If any of your mortgage loans have a rate of 5% or more it is worth calling me to see if you qualify for a lower rate and better terms.  If you are currently on an ARM (Adjustable Rate Mortgage) product and it is nearing the end of the fixed period, I also encourage you to contact me.

Quotes & the Details:
Financing your home is a complex transaction that takes time, effort and expertise.  Getting a quote off the web is foolish since it does not take into account your financial portfolio... receiving an accurate quote requires per Federal law that your credit report be pulled, assets noted, loan-to-value and debt-to-income ratios and other criteria to numerous to mention here... so receiving a quote online is nothing like the real thing.  It takes a Professional Mortgage Loan Originator - ME!
